3. Sazkirin û Bikaranîna Destpêkê
- Sazkirina Pîlê: The Thermapen comes with one AAA battery pre-installed. To access the battery compartment, locate the battery cover on the back of the unit. Use a small screwdriver to open it if necessary. Ensure the battery is correctly oriented according to the polarity markings.
- Power On / Off: To turn the Thermapen on, simply unfold the probe until it locks into place. The display will illuminate. To turn it off, fold the probe back into the body of the thermometer.
- Selecting Temperature Units (°C/°F):
Inside the battery compartment, there is a small switch or button to toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F). Use a pen tip or a small pointed object to press or slide this switch to your desired unit.

- Resolution Adjustment (0.1° or 1°): Some models may offer an option to switch between 0.1° and 1° resolution. This setting is also typically found within the battery compartment. Refer to the markings inside for specific instructions.
4. Telîmatên Operating
- Termometre amade bikin: Unfold the probe to turn on the unit. Ensure the desired temperature unit (°C or °F) is selected.
- Probe têxe: Carefully insert the stainless steel probe into the center of the food or liquid you wish to measure. For best accuracy, ensure the probe tip is fully immersed and not touching any bones or the bottom of the pan.
- Germahiya bixwînin: The digital display will show the temperature reading within approximately 3 seconds. Wait for the reading to stabilize for the most accurate result.
- Remove and Clean: After use, remove the probe from the item. Fold the probe back into the body to turn off the unit. Clean the probe thoroughly as described in the Maintenance section.

5. Maintenance û Care
- Paqijkirina sondajê: Always clean the stainless steel probe after each use to prevent cross-contamination. Wipe the probe with an antibacterial wipe or a damp cloth with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Paqijkirina laş: The Thermapen body is splash-proof and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the entire unit in water or place it in a dishwasher.
- Embarkirinî: Store the Thermapen with the probe folded away in a clean, dry place. The fold-away design protects the probe and prevents accidental activation.
- Guhertina Pîl: When the display indicates a low battery, replace the AAA battery. Ensure proper polarity during installation.
- Calibration: The Thermapen is factory calibrated and comes with a NIST-traceable certificate. Routine user calibration is generally not required. If you suspect a significant deviation, contact ThermoWorks support.
