3. Hilbera Serîview

Familiarize yourself with the ports and buttons on the KVM switch for proper connection and operation.

3.1 Panela Pêşîn

  • Porta USB-C 3.0: Ji bo girêdana cîhazên USB-C.

  • CONTROL Port: For connecting the wired remote switch.
  • Source Buttons (1 & 2): Used to manually switch between connected computers.

4. Rêwerzên Sazkirinê

Follow these steps to connect your MT-VIKI KVM Switch:

  1. Têkiliya Hêzê: Connect the provided USB A-C power cable to the DC 5V port on the KVM switch and to a USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on one of your computers.
  2. Têkiliya Çavdêr: Connect your monitor to the HDMI OUT port on the KVM switch using an HDMI cable (not included).
  3. Computer 1 Connection:
    • Connect an HDMI cable from your first computer's HDMI output to the HDMI IN1 port on the KVM switch.
    • Connect one of the provided USB A to B cables from your first computer's USB 3.0 port to the USB IN1 port on the KVM switch.
  4. Computer 2 Connection:
    • Connect an HDMI cable from your second computer's HDMI output to the HDMI IN2 port on the KVM switch.
    • Connect the second provided USB A to B cable from your second computer's USB 3.0 port to the USB IN2 port on the KVM switch.
  5. Keyboard and Mouse Connection: Connect your USB keyboard and USB mouse to the dedicated USB 3.0 ports on the rear panel of the KVM switch.
  6. Additional USB Devices: Connect any other USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 peripherals (e.g., USB flash drives, printers, mobile hard drives) to the USB 3.0 and USB-C 3.0 ports on the front panel.
  7. Wired Remote Switch: Plug the wired remote switch into the CONTROL port on the front panel for convenient switching.

5. Telîmatên Operating

The MT-VIKI KVM Switch offers two methods for switching between connected computers:

  • Bişkojka Panela Pêşî: Press the "1" or "2" button on the front of the KVM switch to select the corresponding computer.
  • Wired Remote Switch: Press the button on the wired remote switch to toggle between Computer 1 and Computer 2.

When switching, there may be a brief delay (approximately 3 seconds) as the computer recognizes the USB connection. This is normal operation.

6. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your KVM switch:

  • Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected to both the KVM switch and the computers/monitor.
  • Verify that the correct input source is selected on your monitor.
  • Check if the KVM switch is receiving adequate power.

  • Some users reported distorted HDMI signals; if this occurs, try disconnecting and reconnecting the KVM switch from power and USB cables.

Bright blue indicator light.

Some users find the indicator light bright. This is a design feature. If distracting, consider repositioning the unit or covering the light.

Peripherals not recognized after switching multiple times.

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the KVM switch from its power and USB cables to reset the connections. Ensure direct connection to the laptop/PC if using a dock, as some docks may interfere.
