This manual provides essential information for the safe and proper use, assembly, and maintenance of your Safety 1st Smooth Ride Travel System. Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use, and keep this manual for future reference. Your travel system includes a stroller, an OnBoard 35 LT Infant Car Seat, and an OnBoard 35 LT Adjustable Infant Car Seat Base.

Your Safety 1st Smooth Ride Travel System is JPMA-certified and exceeds ASTM standards for safety. Always ensure all components are securely latched and fastened before placing a child in the system. Never leave a child unattended in the stroller or car seat. Always use the harness system provided. For the infant car seat, ensure it is installed correctly in your vehicle, either with the base using the LATCH system or with the vehicle's seat belt.

4. Sazkirin

4.1 Stroller Assembly

1. Unfold the stroller by lifting the 'Lift to Fold' strap located on the seat. The stroller is designed for a fast, one-hand fold and stands on its own when folded.
2. Attach the wheels if not pre-assembled. Ensure they click securely into place. The stroller features agile wheels for maximum maneuverability.
3. Attach the child tray by aligning it with the slots on the stroller frame and pushing until it clicks. The child tray is removable for easy access.

4.2 Infant Car Seat Base Installation

1. Place the OnBoard 35 LT Adjustable Infant Car Seat Base on the vehicle seat.
2. Utilize the LATCH system by attaching the LATCH connectors from the base to your vehicle's lower anchors. Ensure a tight and secure fit.
3. Alternatively, if LATCH is not available or preferred, route the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt through the designated belt path on the base.
4. Adjust the leveling mechanism on the base to achieve the correct recline angle for your infant. The base features an adjustable leveling foot.

4.3 Infant Car Seat Preparation

The OnBoard 35 LT Infant Car Seat includes added back and neck support for newborns. The 5-point harness system is adjustable to provide a customized fit as your child grows, accommodating infants up to 35 pounds. The car seat also features a canopy for sun protection.

5. Telîmatên Operating

5.1 Attaching Infant Car Seat to Stroller

The QuickClick technology allows for a seamless transition from car to stroller. Ensure the stroller seat back is fully reclined before attaching the car seat.

1. Align the infant car seat with the stroller's attachment points.
2. Lower the car seat onto the stroller until you hear an audible 'click', indicating it is securely latched.

5.2 Adjusting Stroller Seat and Harness

The stroller seat can be reclined to multiple positions for your child's comfort. The 5-point harness system is adjustable to fit children up to 50 pounds in stroller mode. Adjust the shoulder straps to the appropriate height for your child.

5.3 Qatkirina Erebeya Zarokan

To fold the stroller, locate the 'Lift to Fold' strap on the seat. Pull the strap upwards with one hand. The stroller will collapse and stand independently, making it convenient for travel and storage.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Paqijkirin

• Mal: Spot clean fabric components with a mild soap and water solution. Allow to air dry completely.
• Çarçove: Çarçoveya metalî bi nermî paqij bike, damp qumaş. Ji bo rêgirtina li zengkirinê baş hişk bike.
• Teker: Periodically clean wheels and axles to remove dirt and debris. Lubricate moving parts as needed with a silicone-based lubricant.

6.2 Storage

Store the travel system in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.

7. Destpêkirin

• Erebeya zarokan bi rêkûpêk nayê qatkirin/vekirin: Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism. Ensure the 'Lift to Fold' strap is pulled firmly.
• Car seat not clicking into base/stroller: Verify that the car seat is correctly aligned with the attachment points. Ensure no debris is blocking the latches. The car seat must be placed with the stroller seat fully reclined.
• Harness difficult to adjust: Ensure the harness straps are not twisted. Refer to the manual for specific adjustment instructions.
