The UeeVii CPE820 Wireless Bridge is designed for outdoor point-to-point wireless connectivity, enabling network extension over long distances. This package includes two CPE820 wireless bridges and two bridge bracket mounts, facilitating the creation of a stable and high-speed wireless link between two locations.

3.2 Powering the Devices (PoE)

The CPE820 units are powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) using the included PoE adapters. They support a wide voltage range ji 24V ber 48V.

  • Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the LAN port of the CPE820 unit.
  • Connect the other end of this Ethernet cable to the "PoE" port on the PoE adapter.
  • Connect another Ethernet cable from the "LAN" port on the PoE adapter to your network device (e.g., router, switch, or computer for initial configuration).

3.3 Initial Configuration and Pairing

The CPE820 units are designed for easy pairing. Follow these steps to establish a wireless bridge link:

  • Power on both CPE820 units as described in Section 3.2.
  • Identify one unit as the "Master" and the other as the "Slave".
  • On the Master unit, set the physical switch (A/B) to position 'A'.
  • On the Slave unit, set the physical switch (A/B) to position 'B'.
  • The units should automatically pair. Observe the LED indicators on the units to confirm successful pairing (refer to the Quick Installation Guide for specific LED status meanings).
  • For advanced configuration or troubleshooting, access the web management interface by connecting a computer directly to the LAN port of the PoE adapter connected to one of the CPE units. The default IP address and login credentials can be found in the Quick Installation Guide.

3.4 Network Expansion Scenarios

The CPE820 wireless bridge is versatile for various network extension needs.

Once the CPE820 units are installed and paired, they will automatically establish a wireless bridge. Data will be transmitted transparently between the two network segments connected by the bridges.

4.1 Transmission Performance

The CPE820 supports high-speed data transfer. Wireless transmission between the bridges can reach up to 1200Mbps, with actual wired speeds up to 433Mbps through the Gigabit port. Performance may vary based on environmental factors and distance.

4.2 Transmission Range

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your UeeVii CPE820 Wireless Bridge, consider the following maintenance tips:
