3.1 Attaching the Tripod

  1. Unfold the legs of the tabletop tripod.
  2. Locate the tripod mounting screw on the top of the tripod head.
  3. Align the tripod mounting hole on the bottom of the spotting scope with the tripod screw.
  4. Carefully screw the scope onto the tripod until it is securely fastened. Do not overtighten.

3.2 Attaching the Smartphone Adapter

  1. Ensure the eyepiece cover is removed from the spotting scope.
  2. Adjust the eyecup of the spotting scope to its lowest position (fully retracted).
  3. Secure your smartphone into the phone holder clamp. Ensure the phone's camera lens is aligned with the adapter's central opening.
  4. Carefully slide the adapter's ring over the spotting scope's eyepiece.
  5. Tighten the adapter's locking mechanism to secure it firmly to the eyepiece. Ensure the phone's camera is centered over the eyepiece for optimal viewing.

4.1 Adjusting Magnification (Zoom)

The spotting scope features a variable 20x to 60x magnification. To adjust the zoom:

  1. Rotate the zoom ring located on the eyepiece.
  2. Turn clockwise to increase magnification (zoom in) and counter-clockwise to decrease magnification (zoom out).

5. Maintenance
